Why did I just discover this show????!!!!! Tell me!!!!
I am in love with BBC Sherlock.
I found the series on Netflix the other day at a friend's house and watched the first episode wondering if an updated Sherlock Holmes series could possibly be any good. Short version. It was. I've been a Sherlock Homes fan since I was in fifth grade (a strange literary interest for an eleven-year-old), but this is the first updated version that I've liked.
Benedict Cumberbatch is my new favorite Homes (beating out the previous Basil Rathbone). He's perfect for the role. PERFECT I TELL YOU!
And I recently found out that Season Two is coming to the BBC in January (and PBS in America in May). Here are some things that I would enjoy seeing... because I've joined this fandom hardcore....
1. John in the crazy cat jumper. [link]
However, I think Sherlock might notice the trend and stage an intervention.
2. The bull pup.
Watson's bulldog wasn't in "A Study in Pink," and I was sad. Imagine the hilarity if John brings home a puppy to the unable-to-compromise Sherlock. Well, at least it wouldn't be a cat.
3. A patch-up scene.
Because what use is being an army doctor if you can't put it to good use.

The Bull Pup mentioned in the books means a gun, just so you know. But a real dog would be cute.
